The PM-84 integrated amplifier was a lower power version of the PM-94, having 105 watts per channel. The front panel was identical in appearance to the PM-94, but internally, the PM-84 was completely different, as this photos shows. A more conventional design power transformer was used instead a a toroidal transformer, and it was mounted to the left and rear of the chassis. The electrolytic capacitor configuration was also different. A single heatsink of different design was used in the PM-84.
